Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how customers of CountriesDB, operated by NAYEE LLC, may be eligible for a refund.

This policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

1. Subscription Nature

CountriesDB is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform providing API access and front-end widgets for country and subdivision data.

Because access is digital and provisioned immediately after payment, all subscription plans are considered delivered upon activation.

2. Free Trial and Evaluation

A Free Plan (DevMode) is available to allow you to test the Service before committing to a paid plan.
You are encouraged to evaluate all functionality and performance using this free tier prior to purchase.

3. General Refund Rules

Unless otherwise required by law, all payments are final and non-refundable once a paid subscription period has begun.

Refunds may be issued only in the following exceptional cases:

  1. Duplicate Payment — if you are accidentally charged twice for the same subscription.

  2. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Use — if your API key or account was compromised and used without your authorization.

  3. Confirmed Service Failure — if the Service was unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to reasons under our control and you were unable to use paid features.

  4. Legal Requirement — if applicable consumer-protection laws mandate a refund in your jurisdiction.

Refund requests must be submitted using our contact form within 14 days of the billing date.
Each request is reviewed individually, and decisions are final once communicated.

4. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your CountriesDB account dashboard.

Cancellation prevents further automatic renewals; however, no prorated refunds are provided for unused time in the current billing period.

Your access remains active until the end of the prepaid term.

5. Chargebacks and Account Suspension

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our support team may result in immediate account suspension and loss of access to API keys, widgets, and data.

We encourage customers to resolve all billing issues directly with us first.

6. Unauthorized Use of API or Widgets

If another party fraudulently uses your public API key, please notify us immediately.

After investigation and confirmation, we may revert or credit the affected charges at our discretion.

Continued misuse may require regeneration of keys, temporary access blocking, or implementation of additional security measures to protect your account and the Service from further unauthorized access.

7. Legal Basis

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable international law.
