Allow Parent Selection

This standalone example loads the widget script with ?allow_parent_selection=1to enable selection of parent subdivisions in multi-level administrative hierarchies.

Script parameters: ?allow_parent_selection=1

Note: This parameter is particularly useful for countries with complex administrative hierarchies where you want to allow selection at different levels of specificity.

Try it: Select a country with multi-level subdivisions (like France or United Kingdom) from the country dropdown, then look at the subdivision dropdown to see both parent and child subdivisions available for selection.
